If you need a little tutorial, here is what you need to know about my web log site:
The blog is a description of the highlights of each day's ride. The entries will be in reverse chronological order (most recent first). I might not post an entry for every day of the ride, but I will try. To view comments that others might have posted for a given entry, just click "read comments."
To follow the trip in pictures, click on the drop-down list of photo albums and pick the one that has the same name as the blog entry you are reading. To get a larger size, simply click on the Photos tab right under the grey msn Spaces bar. If a photo has a comment posted for it, you can click the "Comments" link to view it/them.
If you have a Microsoft .NET Passport login, you can post a comment to a blog entry or photo: Just click 'add comment.'
I ride with a GPS-enabled trip computer that captures details of the route. If I am successful in uploading that to a site called MotionBased, I include a link in my blog entry to the trip data. Be forewarned that response time in accessing MotionBased can be slow, but the tools they offer for looking at route data are a lot of fun. Some features at MotionBased were built using scalable vector graphics (SVG). Since most browsers do not inherently support SVG, you may be prompted to download the Adobe SVG Viewer.
